Baseball Recap: Dinwiddie Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dinwiddie couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the King George Foxes on Tuesday, falling 8-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Generals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dinwiddie saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Everett, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Dinwiddie's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for King George, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Dinwiddie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King George, they will challenge Atlee on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Foxes 2.1, the Raiders 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
