Volleyball Recap: Clark Fork Has No Trouble Against Genesis Prep Academy

Clark Fork lost to Genesis Prep Academy back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wampus Cats blew past the Jaguars 3-0. The game was the first time the Wampus Cats have beaten the Jaguars on their court since September 7, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-17.

Nora-Jean Hoy paced Clark Fork's offense, picking up nine kills. Hoy got some help from Kiylah Anderson and her 19 assists. Vanessa Rogier controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Clark Fork's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Genesis Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Clark Fork is taking a road trip to take on Kootenai at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Genesis Prep Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Mullan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
