Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Comes Up Short

Rocky Mountain lost against Wyoming Indian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies fell just short of Wyoming Indian by a score of 55-52. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Defeat or not, Rocky Mountain got some senior leadership from Tucker Jackson and Cole Minchow. Jackson went 7 for 11 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds, while Minchow went 5 of 8 on his way to 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. Lafe Files was another key player, putting up five points.

Rocky Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Wyoming Indian, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Rocky Mountain has already played their next contest (against Greybull), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wyoming Indian has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Kemmerer.
