Soccer Recap: Carl Albert Comes Up Short

Carl Albert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Guymon Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Carl Albert have lost by just one goal.

Carl Albert now has a losing record of 2-3-2. As for Guymon, the win got them back to even at 3-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carl Albert will take on rival Western Heights on Friday. Meanwhile, Guymon is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop McGuinness at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
