Football Recap: Winston Academy Victorious

Canton Academy came into Friday's game looking for another win against Winston Academy, but Jonah Hood wouldn't allow it. The Patriots walked away with a 12-3 victory over the Panthers on Friday thanks in part to Hood, who rushed for 88 yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Winston Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kingsley Ashford and Ben Caperton. Winston Academy received some extra help from Hood, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
