Kalani is 9-1 against Kalaheo since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Kalani is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Castle on Wednesday. Kalani fell just short of Castle by a score of 2-1. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Kalaheo was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor McKinley could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Kalani's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. Kalaheo's draw makes their record 1-2-1 this season.

Kalani beat Kalaheo by a goal in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 2-1. Will Kalani repeat their success, or does Kalaheo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
