Goreville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Trico Pioneers by a score of 7-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Goreville of the 12-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

Ellie Tripp made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Rogers, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
