Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Eagleville). They claimed a resounding  44-7 win over the Huntland Hornets. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Benton Fox had a dynamite game, throwing for 141 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 33 yards and a pair of  TDs. Those  141  passing yards gave  him a new career-high.  Jonathan Jordan helped out on the ground, rushing for 111 yards.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Eagleville proved: they limited Huntland to a paltry 2.8 yards per carry. The Eagles didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.9.
Eagleville's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Huntland,  this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Eagleville will challenge Zion Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Huntland, they will take on Bledsoe County at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday.
