Basketball Recap: Mulberry Panthers vs. Ridge Community Bolts
Mulberry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridge Community Bolts.
Eugene Daniels was a one-man wrecking crew for Ridge Community as he scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keymari Coates, who had 11 points.
Mulberry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ridge Community, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mulberry and All Saints' Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ridge Community has already played their next game (against Mulberry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
