Baseball Recap: New London Comes Up Short

New London made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Little Chute, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

New London's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Little Chute, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, New London will head out on the road to face off against West De Pere at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Phantoms will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Little Chute, they will be playing at home against Waupaca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
