Softball Recap: Monona Grove Silver Eagles vs. DeForest Norskies
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethlehem, Monona Grove was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the DeForest Norskies. For the Silver Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 6-5 victory the Norskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Brooklyn Vanden Branden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks.
