Basketball Recap: Highland Piles Up the Points Against Timberline

Highland won the last time they faced Timberline and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Highland Huskies blew past the Timberline Spartans 42-13. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by exactly 29 points.

Leading Highland to victory were Hailey Click and Sheradyn Stamper. Click dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals, while Stamper dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 steals. Click has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Kylee Beck was another key player, putting up four points along with 11 boards and four steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Timberline, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Highland will be playing in front of their home fans against Nezperce at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Timberline, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kamiah at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
