Softball Recap: Fort Bend Elkins Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Elkins lost against Fort Bend Bush back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights lost 17-6 to the Broncos. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Clay was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Jaila Davis was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Fort Bend Elkins' record is now 3-13. As for Fort Bend Bush, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7-1.

Coming up, Fort Bend Elkins will head out to face off against Fort Bend Dulles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Fort Bend Bush, they will be playing at home against Fort Bend Travis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
