Recap: Brookwood Panthers vs. Northside Rams
The Brookwood Panthers managed to keep up with the Northside Rams until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Brookwood was outmatched by Northside on the road and fell 66-37. Brookwood just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taylor Crummie, who scored eight points. Jacob Rowell was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Brookwood bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northside, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookwood will finish 2023 at home by hosting Montevallo at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Montevallo presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brookwood in Alabama (Montevallo is ranked 152nd, while Brookwood is ranked 366th). Northside will finish 2023 at home by hosting Demopolis at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. Demopolis is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
