Football Recap: Bergen Tech Comes Up Short

Bergen Tech lost against Fort Lee back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Bridgemen. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A big part of Fort Lee's win came down to the chemistry between Luke Senatore and his top target Azel Orta. Senatore threw for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven passes while Orta picked up 39 receiving yards and one TD. What's more, Senatore racked up 141.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Bergen Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fort Lee, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Bergen Tech will welcome Indian Hills at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves' defense has only allowed 13.6 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fort Lee, they will head out to take on Kearny at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
