Basketball Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield suffered their biggest defeat since January 5, 2024 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 64-31 loss at the hands of the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions. The match marked the Hustlin' Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Greenfield's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Greenfield will take on Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenfield is facing Franklin at the right time seeing as Franklin is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, they will challenge Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Grove knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully New Berlin Eisenhower likes a good challenge.
