Riverdale posted their closest win since October 14th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Bureau Valley Storm 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Storm: they've now won three in a row.

In the two sets Riverdale was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-14, 25-15.

Riverdale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamryn Kruger, who had 22 digs and four aces. Kruger is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Lola Wainwright was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Riverdale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last 11 matchups.

Riverdale's record now sits at 21-10-1. As for Bureau Valley, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will head out to face off against Rock Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bureau Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
