The win was all the more spectacular given Wolves' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Comets are ranked 27th).

Livingston Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-9-2. As for St. Charles Catholic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 14-1-2 record.
