Soccer Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood lost against Merritt Island back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Wolves lost 6-0 to the Mustangs. Edgewood have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-2. As for Merritt Island, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Edgewood will venture away from home to take on Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. Edgewood will be up against Cocoa's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.63 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Merritt Island, they will challenge Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
