Softball Game Preview: Amsterdam Rams vs. Gloversville Huskies/Dragons

The Amsterdam Rams will venture away from home to take on the Gloversville Huskies/Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gloversville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Amsterdam, who comes in off a win.

Amsterdam will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Schuylerville, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Rams walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Horses on Wednesday. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Elianna Tirado, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Gloversville came up short against Queensbury on Wednesday, falling 16-1. The Huskies/Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amsterdam's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Gloversville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
