Volleyball Recap: Cass Tech Takes a Loss

Cass Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Lyon East Cougars. The Technicians were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

Cass Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 14-20-1. As for South Lyon East, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7-1 record this season.

Cass Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Anchor Bay on the 18th. As for South Lyon East, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against North Branch on the 18th.
