Volleyball Recap: Ambridge's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

After flying high against Hopewell last Thursday, Ambridge came back down to earth. The Bridgers fell just short of the South Fayette Lions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bridgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ambridge fell to 8-1. As for South Fayette, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Ambridge and South Fayette will both be playing Trinity the next time they take the court. The Bridgers will head out to face the Hillers at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th, while the Lions will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on May 1.
