Volleyball Recap: Silver Creek Takes a Loss

Silver Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pueblo West Cyclones. If the Raptors were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Cyclones when the teams met back in November of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Avery White paced Silver Creek's offense, picking up four kills. White got some help from Susan Campie and her eight assists.

Silver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Pueblo West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Silver Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Rangeview on the 1st. As for Pueblo West, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Centaurus on the 1st.
