Basketball Recap: Baker Takes a Loss

Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions 48-11. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 53-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Donte Robinson was the offensive standout of the match as he posted 14 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jason Dale, who had seven points.

Baker's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Muchin College Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Baker will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mansueto at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. After both having extra time off, Muchin College Prep and ITW David Speer Academy will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
