Volleyball Recap: Ladysmith's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ladysmith entered their tilt with Amery on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Lumberjacks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ladysmith's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Amery, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ladysmith will square off against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amery, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Unity at 9:00 a.m. on October 4.
