Baseball Game Preview: Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans vs. King Academy Knights

The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the King Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ridge Spring-Monetta has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 2nd.

Things were looking good for Ridge Spring-Monetta after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 14-4 to North.

Zahid Rosas made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for King Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Wardlaw Academy with a sharp 14-4 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the game before.

The victory got King Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Ridge Spring-Monetta might still be hurting after the 22-1 defeat they got from King Academy in their previous meeting on March 11th. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
