Hingham has gone 8-2 against Marshfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Harbormen will venture away from home to face off against the Rams at 4:45 p.m. Hingham will be strutting in after a win while Marshfield will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Hingham made easy work of Plymouth North and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Harbormen in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Hingham was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Silver Lake Regional.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Marshfield sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-12.

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Hingham, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Hingham came up short against Marshfield when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Harbormen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
