Softball Recap: Rosa Fort Comes Up Short

Rosa Fort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Edwards Tigers, falling 22-0.

Rosa Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Edwards, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosa Fort will head out to square off against West Bolivar at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edwards, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Edwards Tigers face off against Amanda Elzy Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in their favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
