While Unioto's win against McClain wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Shermans skirted past the Tigers 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Shermans sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

KB Perkins was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Callaway Ratliff, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Unioto hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McClain struck out 14 times.

Unioto's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for McClain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Unioto nor McClain have any future games scheduled.
