Soccer Game Preview: Viewmont vs. Woods Cross

The Viewmont Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Woods Cross Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Woods Cross heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Viewmont took over last week. The Vikings never let Bonneville get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday. Viewmont haven't had any issues with Bonneville recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woods Cross). They came out on top against Box Elder by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Woods Cross.

Woods Cross pushed their record up to 4-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Viewmont, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Viewmont took their victory against Woods Cross in their previous meeting on Saturday by a conclusive 4-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
