Softball Recap: Cahokia Comanches vs. Gibault Catholic Hawks
Cahokia had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-12 to make it 13. They lost 17-0 to the Gibault Catholic Hawks. If the Comanches were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Gibault Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games.
For Gibault Catholic's part, Claire Kessler was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
