Football Recap: Bethel-Tate Comes Up Short

Bethel-Tate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Goshen Warriors and fell 53-19. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 42-14 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bethel-Tate's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Goshen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethel-Tate will take on Batavia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Goshen, they will challenge Blanchester at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
