Pierce County has no trouble against Laney

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pierce County Bears had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against Laney as Pierce County made off with a 35-14 win. Pierce County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pierce County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Mcgatha, who rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Sloan, who picked up 97 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
The victory (which was Pierce County's sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. As for Laney, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-1.
Pierce County will face off against Fellowship Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fellowship Christian will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. Laney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
