Basketball Recap: College Park Falcons vs. Las Lomas Knights
The College Park Falcons waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Las Lomas with points to spare, taking the game 74-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead College Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Whittles, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Deegan Sullenger, who scored 12 points along with six assists.
Las Lomas' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joey Brodskiy, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Brodskiy is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Colin Pangilinan was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
College Park is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Las Lomas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.
College Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Las Lomas also has no future games currently scheduled.
