Basketball Recap: Red Rock Takes a Loss

Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Williams Vikings, falling 68-40. If the Scorpions were looking for revenge after losing 75-61 to the Vikings when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Red Rock's record now sits at 3-6. As for Williams, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Red Rock and Williams will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Scorpions see the court they'll take on Fountain Hills at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Williams, their break will end when they face Seligman at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
