Basketball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wilmington last Friday, Greenville came back down to earth. The Greenville Trojans had to suffer through a 61-31 loss at the hands of the Lakeview Sailors. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Greenville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Lakeview, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Greenville has already played their next game (against Kennedy Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lakeview will challenge Wilmington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakeview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
