Flag Football Game Preview: Schaumburg Saxons vs. St. Charles North North Stars

The Schaumburg Saxons will square off against the St. Charles North North Stars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Schaumburg 8.8, St. Charles North 7.1) so any points scored will be well earned.

St. Charles North will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Schaumburg extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Saxons never let Barrington get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Saxons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Fillies/Broncos are ranked 55th).

Meanwhile, St. Charles North blew past Wheaton-Warrenville South, posting a 50-0 victory. Considering the North Stars have won 14 games by more than 20 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Schaumburg's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for St. Charles North, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.
