Garretson and Baltic are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Garretson Blue Dragons will venture away from home to square off against the Baltic Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garretson has given up an average of 56.3 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Garretson is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Dell Rapids last Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Garretson lost 59-39 to Dell Rapids. The Blue Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Baltic fell just short of Madison by a score of 51-49. Baltic hasn't had much luck with Madison recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Garretson will have to keep a close watch on Ben Erickson and Dylan Runestad, a pair of players who had a big impact on Baltic's prior game. Erickson posted 16 points and six boards, while Runestad shot 50% from the field en route to 12 points. Erickson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Garretson's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Baltic, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Garretson came up short against Baltic when the teams last played back in February, falling 50-40. Can Garretson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
