Softball Recap: Foothill Falcons vs. Amador Valley Dons
Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Amador Valley Dons. That's two games in a row now that Foothill has lost by exactly six runs.
Marissa Anderson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Novitske, who went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
On Amador Valley's side, Mai Falcone was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Riya Sharda, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Amador Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10.
