Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only South Pointe walked away with it. They didn't even let the Emerald Vikings on the board on Friday, marking their second-straight 49-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Stallions sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

South Pointe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kadin Vassel led the charge by picking up 114 receiving yards and a pair of scores. R.J. Brown was another key rusher, rushing for 40 yards and two TDs.

South Pointe's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Emerald, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Coming up, South Pointe will look to defend their home field on Friday against A.C. Flora at 7:30 p.m. The Stallions will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. Emerald does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
