Basketball Recap: Seaholm Comes Up Short

Seaholm suffered their biggest defeat since January 30, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Rochester Falcons, falling 47-21. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Maples' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Seaholm has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Rochester, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaholm will head out to challenge Stoney Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rochester, they will square off against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rochester is facing Athens at the right time seeing as Athens is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
