Basketball Game Preview: East Chapel Hill Wildcats vs. Jordan Falcons

East Chapel Hill is 0-10 against Jordan since January of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the East Chapel Hill Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Jordan Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

East Chapel Hill is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Northern Durham: they outscored them in every quarter. East Chapel Hill enjoyed a cozy 32-15 win over Northern Durham on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

East Chapel Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alison Zaranek, who posted six points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Harline, who put up four points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Jordan waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took their match with ease, bagging a 52-23 win over the Hornets. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Hornets are ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Chapel Hill's record is now 9-16. As for Jordan, their record is now 18-6.

East Chapel Hill took a serious blow against Jordan when the teams last played last Monday, falling 64-19. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point East Chapel Hill was down 32-8.
