Baseball Recap: Ozark Catholic Academy Comes Up Short

Ozark Catholic Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenland Pirates.

Ozark Catholic Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Greenland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ozark Catholic Academy and Greenland will both be playing Providence Academy the next time they take the field. The Griffins will host the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
