Softball Game Preview: Lynbrook Vikings vs. MacDonald Condor

The Lynbrook Vikings will square off against the MacDonald Condor at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Lynbrook has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 26.

Lynbrook came up short against Palo Alto on Wednesday, falling 14-2.

Audrey Lee was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Martin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, MacDonald unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 14-4 to Cupertino.

MacDonald saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ileyah Sanchez, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Kyra Reid was another, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

MacDonald's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lynbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
