Recap: Southwestern Trojans vs. Fredonia Hillbillies

The Southwestern Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Fredonia, falling 82-46. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Southwestern in their matchups with Fredonia: they've now lost four in a row.

Fredonia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Davion White out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Hahn, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 2 assists.

Southwestern has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Fredonia, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwestern will take on Allegany-Limestone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern is coming into the match with four straight losses at home, meaning Allegany-Limestone will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Fredonia will take on Salamanca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Salamanca is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
