Basketball Recap: Big Sandy Falls Short of Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Big Sandy can now relate to. They came up short against Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine on Friday, falling 53-31. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine are ranked first).

Big Sandy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
