            Baseball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Hawks vs. Central Davidson Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            The Forsyth Home Educators Hawks didn't have quite enough to beat the Central Davidson Spartans on Monday and fell  4-3.
 Hunter Spell was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out eight batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   nine  hits. That's the fewest  earned runs  he has allowed since back in March.
 At the plate,  Matthew Lane made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
Forsyth Home Educators' loss dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for Central Davidson, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 17-5.
 Coming up, Forsyth Home Educators will head out to  challenge Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Central Davidson, they will host Community School of Davidson  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
