Softball Recap: Brimley Comes Up Short

Brimley lost to Newberry back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bays fell just short of the Indians by a score of 8-7. The Bays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brimley's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Newberry, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Brimley has already played their next contest (against Mackinaw City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Newberry will be paying especially close attention to the Bays' matchup: after the Bays face off against the Comets, they'll take on Newberry again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
