It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cathedral Prep can now relate to. They fell just short of the Corry Beavers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Ramblers haven't had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Cathedral Prep actually scored more points across those five sets (100-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23, 15-8.

Several Ramblers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mackenzie Moore, who had 35 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Moore has posted since back in October. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Resurreccion, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Even though they lost, Cathedral Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive games.

Cathedral Prep's loss dropped their record down to 18-11-1. As for Corry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 23 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 27-3-2 record this season.
