League recap: Hart bests Ridgeview in blowout

Foothill recap September 24, 2013

Hart took down Ridgeview 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Connor Wingenroth ran for 205 yards during the win.

Saugus and Ventura played the closest game in Foothill this week, with Saugus eventually emerging with a 20-17 victory. Chris Hamilton threw for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

Cade Apsay put up the best numbers in passing as Canyon bested Quartz Hill. He finished with a total of 9 completions for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns. Apsay's favorite target this week was Zach Cuha, who caught 2 passes for 58 yards.

Jake Wallace provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Valencia beat Righetti. He completed 18 passes for 228 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 79 yards. Wallace's key target this week was Jay Jay Wilson, who caught 7 passes for 92 yards.

He went 9-13 with 0 interception.

Alex Rassool was a key player and the best on defense this week as West Ranch lost to Thousand Oaks. The 6-foot-0 defensive end racked up 2.0 sacks.

Wilson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Vikings defeated the Warriors. Ethan Yoo helped Valencia's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 40 yards.

Wingenroth was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Jonathan Choi added to the ground attack by rushing for 68 yards.

Hart's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brady White has thrown for 979 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Trent Irwin has 16 catches for 375 yards.

The Indians led Foothill in scoring this week by notching 56 points on the Wolf Pack. Wingenroth during the win.
